I don't watch the Super Bowl. I don't really get sports, and I don't think that this event is always as important as people make it out to be. During Super Sunday, it is literally just another sunday for me. Because I don't put any attachment to it, I do other stuff. Homework, chores, video games, whatever. I honestly think it is way too much hype for a football game. However, there are usually some good memes made right after the super bowl. That's always fun.

DeleteYes I do enjoy watching the Super Bowl. In fact, my mom is obsessed. Normally, we would go all out but due to COVID, that isn't possible. Every year, my mom makes her famous nacho dip casserole. We also eat chicken wings and drink root-beer floats. Yes I do enjoy watching the commercials since companies make them so extra and they're also funny. I'm excited to hear the Weeknd perform because he is actually a really good artist and I like listening to his music, especially his new album.

DeleteI 've never really had any interest in watching sports but on Super Sunday I mostly spend my day either catching up on work or watching my favourite shows. Lately I have been watching some anime, my sister introduced me to Naruto which I grew to be addicted to. I also found some interest in shows by dc such as Flash and Black Lightning but due to covid Dc suspended the production so now I am on my knees waiting for the new seasons. I've also been waiting for stranger things, I am a huge fan of Stranger Things. I started watching it in grade 7 with some of my friends. We always had some popcorn or some carrots and Humus to go with each episode.

DeleteI can't wait for the super bowl. I watch it every year with my family. Sometimes my dad will make nachos or something, but usually we don't do much in terms of food. I watch the commercials, and sometimes I find them kind of funny, but usually I don't really notice them. I think when the halftime show comes on I might go to the bathroom or get a drink or something, anything to get away from the show.

DeleteTo be honest, the only really started to watch the Super Bowl for the half time show. I do watch the full despite not knowing all the rules. On Super Bowl weekend we don't cook anything we usually just order takeout like pizza or burgers. I do watch the commercials because they are better than other shows. This year I am really excited about the halftime show featuring the Weekend. Apparently, the Weekend spent over 5 millions of his own money on the Super Bowl.

DeleteI don't watch the super bowl and don't even know when it is on because none of my family cared about football either. I don't like The Weekends music so I have no interest in watching the halftime show. On “Super Sunday” nothing is really different, most of the time I forget about the Super Bowl so may sunday is as they always are. I really don't understand why people like football, it doesn't seem fun at all and it's even less fun to watch.

Because it's boring, I'll either go on my phone or do something to not see the commercials. I like watching football, but the NFL is lucky that the nets aren’t playing because I’d rather watch them then football. I feel like the Super Bowl is more of an event to make money and commercialize instead of the game itself. The half time show is the reason a lot of people watch and if the artist performing isn’t really my favorite, it’s just meh.
I am a crazy football fan and though I don't like either of the teams playing in the super bowl, I love the players. Hopefully KC wins so I can make fun of Mr. Katz for wanting the bucs to win. Every year I try and watch the super bowl with a smile on my face though my favourite team the Pittsburgh Steelers never make it. The half time has been trash the past couple of years. Honestly this is the most excited I've ever been for a super bowl. The super bowl game wise the past couple of years have been boring but this year the best of the best players are playing in it.

DeleteI don't really have much interest in the super bowl. My family never watches football but for the super bowl we might watch. One year, we watched the game and I was really confused because I don't understand how football works. During the game, my mom usually makes chicken whether it's spicy chicken wings or fried chicken. I can't say we eat anything special during that time but whatever. This year I might watch because I have nothing better to do, I think it's cool that the weeknd is performing at the half time show since I listen to his music. If I got the choice, I would've preferred seeing a rapper take that spot because usually their performances are very exciting.

DeleteIn the past I never did anything for super bowl, half the time I forgot it was even happening. but for the past couple years I liked watching the halftime and all the commercials just because a lot of them are fun to watch. usually when the game is on i'll either be doing something else and ask whoever is watching to let me know when its half time or i'll be in the room but on my phone just because i dont enjoy watching it. I honestly dont mind that The Weekend is going to be doing to halftime show although it would have been nice if it was someone I liked.

DeleteMy dad always throws a super bowl party but I never pay any attention. I don't really know how football works and Im not a big fan. There is always so much chaos going on that even if I wanted to, I couldn't concentrate on the game. The only part I might pay attention to is halftime, I like the weeknd so I'm excited for his show this year. I also enjoy the commercials because they are usually quite unique. My mom always orders a bunch of food and everyone gets wasted, so honestly I think its more about the partying then the game for my family. I find watching a bunch of adults embarrass themselves is more entertaining then football, last year my dads friend was crying on the floor because he lost $700. That was probably the highlight of the Super Bowl for me.

DeletePersonally, I only started watching the Super Bowl a few years ago. I would mainly watch it for the halftime show, because I didn’t know the rules or what team I should go for. This year, I will probably pay more attention to the game, because I've watched some other games. For supper, my family and I eat chicken wings and nachos. The commercials are usually very well made. Some of them are pretty funny as well. I’m excited to watch The Weeknd perform for the halftime show, because I like his music and his new album.
ReplyDeleteI do not watch the super bowl, as my family is not that invested into sports. If we were watching a hocker game (which is much more often that watching the super bowl), we would normally either eat chips and popcorn. On super Sunday, we would do regular stuff, as we don't watch the super bowl. Instead, we would maybe go skiing, or play games as a family, what we do on a regular day.

DeleteI am not really interested in watching the Super Bowl. My family does watch it but I usually just stick around to watch the halftime show and the commercials. The commercials are always better than the regular commercials that are normally on tv. The halftime shows are always well made. In general, it’s a pretty normal Sunday for us. When we watch the Super Bowl we eat chips and drink sodas. I am excited to see The Weekend’s performance because his music is pretty good.
ReplyDeleteMy parents don’t even know what the SUPER BOWL is so I never knew about it until I heard people talking about it during like Grade 3. I still don’t watch the SUPER BOWL though because I never really enjoyed watching sports. What I do on SUPER SUNDAY is probably my regular weekend day where I study and do my homework if I had any and I would play video games until I had dinner. After that I would watch YouTube and Twitch until I got tired and I would go to sleep. I wouldn't make SUPER SUNDAY a special fay, it all really depends on my family and what they do.
ReplyDeleteI never watched the super bowl before, I knew it was about football, but I thought it was for a trophy of a super cool soup bowl. I would definetly watch it if they played for soup. I also don't have that much interest in football cause ive never played, so I never bother to watch. Usually on sunday I do all the homework ive put off for the whole weekend and do weekend stuff like sit on the couch, eat snacks, reddit, youtube the occasional work out etc.
ReplyDeletemy family are big football fans and my uncles and aunts like to throw parties that we usually go to, i strongly dislike my cousins so i very much do not enjoy going there. i also don't know anything about football so it's not really fun for me to watch but i can withstand watching it for a little. i think the commercials are always funny and i usually pay attention when it's half time, but when it's just football i'm usually just eating all the snacks because my aunts are rich and they always have the best food.

DeleteMy family does do a super bowl party every year but obviously not this year. None the less, usually my house hold go to my aunt's house to go watch the game. My dad and uncle cook dinner and watch the game and me my brother and my cousins play around. I'll come randomly and keep track the game but that's it. The only event that everyone watches is the halftime show. My cousins love it so that's the big event for them. Now on the topic of commercials I think they've always been boring but that doesn't compare to how many adds their are during the super bowl it's infuriating.

DeleteMy family and I like super bowl, but didn't like it that much that we would throw a party. Nevertheless, we would still gather around and watch the game. We would usually ,make our own nachos and have some different types of chips around and different dips. I never liked commercials. It's not that they are annoying because they interrupt the game, it's because they are always the same. As for the halftime show, I think the weeknd will make a pretty good show this year.
ReplyDeleteI know I'll get hated for saying this, but I don't like watching football so I don't watch the Super Bowl. I don't even host any parties on that day to watch it or do anything special, except watch the half time show. I treat it like a normal day and just watch the half time show when it comes, then go back to what I am doing. There isn't really anything special I do on Super Bowl Sunday so I just play video games and stay up late and possibly pull an all-nighter as a celebration of Super Bowl Sunday. That is the gist of my Super Bowl day.

DeleteNormally I watch the super bowl but don't really care for it. I say that in the sense that I'm watching the super bowl just to waste time on the tv. Normally my attention spikes up when the half time shows come on or the funny over-the-top commercials. As the only one in my family that watches it, I normally just like to sit down with a bottle of coke and determination to watch the whole game without getting bored. This year I'm excited to watch the half time show as The Weekend is performing, I really like their new album, After Hours.

DeleteI've never really watched the Super Bowl. I know people who really like it is usually for the actual game, but I like it for the half time show and the commercials. They are always so creative, and the commercials could be funny sometimes. If I try to watch the Super Bowl, I would usually get confused because I never understood the rules. To me, it's just watching a group of people running to get the ball. I'm excited about The Weekend's performance because his music is really good. I don't do much on Super Sunday, it's just the regular routine that I follow every weekend.
ReplyDeleteI don't really enjoy watching football, and the super bowl. I think that football is a fun sport to play, but I don't like watching the sport very much. My dad normally watches the Super Bowl, so I end up watching it for a bit. I don't mind watching football for a short period of time, I just think that the games can get a little boring because they are so long. I like to watch some of the commercials, they can be funny. I also don't mind watching the half-time show but it can also get a little boring in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteMy family and I are not really football fans and therefore we don't really watch the Super Bowl. I don't really find football that amusing because after every play they stop for awhile and that gets me pretty bored. Super Bowl weekend for my family is just another normal weekend where we just relax for two days and don't do anything really exciting. I also find the halftime show pretty overrated so I try to just stay clear of football in general. Overall, this weekend will be pretty normal for me.

Every year my whole family comes to our house and we eat chicken wings and nachos ( when I say "we" I mean me and whoever else is fast enough). I really like watching the commercials because they're all so funny since each and every one of them is trying their hardest to get your attention. This is due to the fact that so many people watch the Super Bowl. I was never really interested in the half-time shows because it's really just singing and dancing, and I'm not really into that. However this year it's featuring The Weeknd, so I'm a little more excited about it than last year.
ReplyDeletefor as long as i can remember i have watched a lot of super bowls with my dad. I basically went to my friend's house and played while the dads watched, so I half watched them. I watched most of the ones with the patriots. I probably ate lots of junky food and fruit/veggies because I was very picky. i never really watched the commercials nor the halftime show, it isn't too entertaning for me. This year my dad only watched the highlights and he (i think) hopes for the buccaneers to win since Brady and Gronk are back in the finals. :)
ReplyDeleteI have absolutely no interest in watching the super bowl game, or any sports at all to be honest. I do not watch the commercials or the halftime show either. If anything interesting happens i guess I would just see it later on like twitter or instagram or something. Since i do not watch it and no one in my family really has any interest in the game, it's like any other Sunday for me. I do homework, watch tv, walk my dog, whatever.

ReplyDeleteI would say I for sure have a in interest in the SUPER BOWL, even if you don't like football or the SUPER BOWL is always fun to watch because watching with a lot of people when the tension is high and the snacks are hot is just a fun time. Speaking of snacks, my favorite is the homemade nachos my mom makes, with ground beef, avocados, grated mozzarella and a lot of salsa all over, with sour cream on the side. The commercials of the SUPER BOWL are iconic and are always fun to watch. I am a fan of the half time shows as well, but I find the quality of the shows have been on a steady decline, and the peak, of course being Michael Jackson in 1993.
I didnt watch this years superbowl, because I knew it was going to be terrible, the highlights were alright, but all in all, I thought it was pretty boring, and am happy that I didnt watch it, I enjoy football, but the superbowl isnt the stanley cup, and therefore my interest isnt so very high from the beginning.
