OPTIONS, OPTIONS, OPTIONS! At some point this week, you will get to choose your OPTION courses for next year, GRADE 10! Will you be making the move to the new St. Thomas High School campus. What OPTION courses do you feel St. Thomas is missing? Why do you feel that would be a GREAT option course? How will it benefit the student? Explain.
When this pandemic ends, and we will be able to live normally again, I will want to go places with my friends. It had been a really long time that I had a lot of fun with my friends, either going places of just hanging out together. Something I will do in the near futur is probably go traveling with my family. This past Christmas break, we were supposed to go to Florida to visit some family, but due to covid, we could not. I believe this was one of the only things I got really bummed out about as we can still talk to our friends virtually, but traveling is something that you can just forget about. Finally, something I will never do again is wear a mask. Although I got used to wearing a mask, I will never one to even see one again, because when I just see one, it reminds me of covid.

DeleteAs soon as this pandemic ends I want to see my family. I haven't seen my grand-parents, aunts and uncles in months. I can’t wait to see them in a normal setting and be able to give them hugs. In the near future I would love to take a vacation somewhere. My family and I were not able to go on vacation this summer because of Covid so hopefully we will be able to soon. Something I will never do again is take seeing family and friends for granted.

ReplyDeleteOne thing I definitely am looking forward to when the pandemic ends is skiing. My parents were gong to let me and my brother go alone this ear but because of the pandemic they said we couldn't until next year. Something I'd do in the near future would be vacationing somewhere.
ReplyDeleteUsually my family goes somewhere every second year, and this year we we're going somewhere, but we missed it because of the pandemic. Something I'll never do again is go on zoom. I hate that app and I hope more than anything that I never have to use it again.
Oh my god I completely agree, zoom sucks, I think that we could have used any other app and it would be better than zoom.

DeleteI can't wait to get back on the ice, that is the first thing I will do. Not playing hockey, and having a overall normal person sort of life has not been good for me, as I have had way too much time to relax. I need to have ice time so that I stop being bored. I will never, ever, not in a million lifetimes, wear a mask after the corona pandemic, I hate them, and the only reason why I put up with them is that I don't want to infect my family, but I wish there was an alternative since I despise them. And something that I will do in the near future after the pandemic is to go to my friends houses and spend whole days with them rather than just 2 or so hours a day. I can't help wishing that this pandemic would just die.

DeleteAfter this pandemic is over, the first thing I would do is get out of my house and have a big party with all my friends. In the near future, I would want to go to the movies, go to restaurants, and live like I used to before the pandemic started. One thing I would never do again is, stay in my house for more than three days, it's killing me knowing that I am not allowed to leave my house. In all, I just want to go back to the way everything used to be before the virus started, back when life made sense.

DeleteWhen the pandemic ends, I would want to go out with my friends and relax immediately. Then I would go out somewhere, eat at a restaurant or just go somewhere for some entertainment. Something I would do in the near future would be to play some sports. Although I am terrible at sports, I would like to play some more. Something I will never do would be to stay in the house for more than a week without going out somewhere. I want to cherish every moment outside just in case there is a pandemic.

DeleteAs soon as the pandemic is over, i will want to go see my family. It has been almost a year since I’ve seen them. I will also want to go on vacation with my grandparents. Over the pandemic both of my grandparents have turned 80 and my family and I want to celebrate as soon as this nightmare is over. Once this pandemic is over, I will never put a mask again. At school you have to where for around eight hours at a time. It will be nice to see everyone's faces again.

DeleteWhen the pandemic ends the first thing I would do is see all my friends again. I would arrange an activity to do together and see them again. I will also probably go on vacation with my family because it has been a while since we have taken one. Something I will hopefully never do again is be quarantined again. I did not enjoy being in my house for months with only my family. I also hope we never have to do online school again, I find online school less motivating and more tiring so I hope I never have to do it again.

DeleteIn the near future I would love to go skiing with my family or skating. We haven't gone in years and this year I think would be the perfect time to go. Something I'd like to do sooner though is to see the majority of my family again. I haven't seen most of my family in months and it's been a huge change since I used to spend almost every weekend with them. Finally something I know i will never do again is forget to study.
ReplyDeleteWhen the pandemic ends, I will mostly be hanging out with friends, I will go to Florida with my best friend and have a karaoke night with my cousins. Every year, my cousins do this karaoke night somewhere in downtown and I was finally old enough to go but I couldn't because of covid. Something I would do in the near future is to get back into playing sports and maybe even try new ones! Something I hope I would never have to do again is to not wear a mask.

DeleteWhen the pandemic ends, I would immediately want to see my grandma that lives in Quebec City. I haven’t seen her since January, so I’d like to spend time with her. I would also go and see my friends and actually hang out instead of seeing each other at school. Something that I would do in the near future is sign up for sports again! I haven’t played soccer or tennis in a really long time, so I would love to start. Something I wouldn’t want to do anymore is wear a mask, because after a long time, they get really uncomfortable.

DeleteWhen this pandemic is over I will want to go on vacation and go back to Venezuela where most of my family is. I was supposed to go this Christmas but I've cancelled it. In the near future when the pandemic is over I will want to appreciate life more and the people I have in my life. This pandemic has taught that everything could be going great but then 2 weeks later you could be dead. I’m never wearing a mask again, if we go into another pandemic in the future I won’t wear a mask. If I could survive this I could survive anything. I’m just waiting for the day where the pandemic is over so I can go back to normal.

DeleteWhen the pandemic ends, I'd really like to go eat in a restaurant. I really miss going to eat somewhere and just sit and talk with my family and eating food that's not from home. In the near future, I would like to go skydiving. I was supposed to go last summer with my step- sister, but because of covid, we couldn't. I something that I would never do again is seeing my family for granted. I really miss seeing my family and it really sucked when I couldn't go to my family reunion in nova scotia this summer.

DeleteWhen this pandemic is over, I will definitely go visit my family in Quebec City. I was meant to go there on Thanksgiving and Christmas but it got cancelled. I will also go see a ton of my friends, because I haven't been able to see many of them for a long time because of the restrictions. Something I will do in the near future is play tennis. Obviously I can't play now in the winter but in the summer I will be there all day every single day. One thing I will never do again after the pandemic is wear a mask. I wore my mask for long enough.
ReplyDeleteWhen this pandemic is over I am definitly looking forward to going to the movie theater and watching all the new stuff and eating popcorn in front of the big screen. In the near future I want to go outside a lot in the snow like sledding because what else am I supposed in a pandemic and it' very fun to go do stuff in the snow.. I am hoping to never wear a mask again and never being in a pandemic again because not gonna lie it kinda sucks..
ReplyDeleteAfter covid ends I will probably want to hang out with friends since its been a while and go visit family and eat in restaurants, go places, etc. then in the near future I would love to go on vacation somewhere warm and sunny with beaches like mexico or costa rica since i really like it there. one thing i'll never want to do again is wear a mask or use that much hand sanitizer or stay inside for a long period of time.

DeleteThe first thing I'd do when the pandemic ends would be to see friends, peers and go to Stash Café. I’d also go to the Cat Café. In the near future I would like to go see family in Manitoba and saskatchewan. I'd probably never want to not go out for weeks on end. Being in nature is important. I wish I kept going outside like I did in the summer.

DeleteWhen the pandemic finally ends I would want to spend time with my friends. Later I would like to go on vacation to Jamaica or Mexico with my family, we usually go every year but with the pandemic we haven't been able to go anywhere. I hope to never have to social distance or where a mask ever again. It's been way to long and I am beyond fed up.

DeleteWhen the pandemic comes to an end the first thing i would want to do is hug and kiss my grandma for i was not able to see her for so long. The second thing I would do is resume my swimming lessons so that i can eventually be able to become a lifeguard. In the near future I plan on extending my vocabulary in English as much as I can and also to learn how to play the electric guitar. Hopefully I will never have to wear a mask ever again.

DeleteWhen the pandemic ends I want to give my grandparents a hug. I miss seeing them and haven't seen my grandmother since February. Something I then want to do in the future would be going to a concert. I miss having fun with my friends at music events and seeing an artist perform live. Something I'm never going to do again is apply hand sanitizer before doing everything. For example, I don't feel the need to apply hand sanitizer practically every half hour because it's dumb and bad for your skin.
ReplyDeleteWhen the pandemic is over I will definitely want to hang out with my friends and family. In the near future one of my dreams would be to travel and see the Olympics in person, but that probably won't happen. Next, I would love to go on a vacation to relax after all the stress of school and covid. Another thing I want to do is playing sports, specifically hockey and soccer but I love all sports. Something I really hope we will never do again is online school, I really hate sitting in my room on zoom to learn.

DeleteWhen the pandemic ends, I would like to go to all of the entertainment places and be able to see all my friends. I haven't done anything fun since the pandemic, so I would love to plan some activities to do after when this is all finished. Something that I would like to do in the near future is to go on a vacation to Italy. I hope we never go back to lockdown again. It's a nightmare that we won't be able to go anywhere but stuck in the house for half a year.

DeleteWhen the pandemic ends something that I want to go do immediately is hang out with people, distancing is hard and sometimes you just need some human company to feel not lonely. Something that I want to do in the near future is go to my cousins wedding but I know its not possible because of the pandemic. Hopefully they postpone it but I can't count on it. Something that I will never do again is stay in my neighborhood for 5 months straight. Hopefully nothing like this never happens again and we can go back to the way everything used to be.
ReplyDeleteSomething i want to do as soon as the pandemic ends, is either buy an Xbox Series X, with Halo Infinite, or buy all the lego I can. I want these things, because the new xbox has extremely short loading screens, extremely good graphics, and 120 fps. But, if that doesn't work out ( and it probably won't, especially because people will be buying these almost instantly ), then I would like to get as much lego as possible, because of all of the cool features in the newer sets. Something that I would want to do in the near future ( once the pandemic is over ), would be to listen to more music. The genres I listen too are not very large, and so I would like to actually explore other genres for once. Something I won't ever do again when the pandemic is over is stay in the exact same place for a solid 5 months. Staying in lockdown was absolute hell, and it was hot, and I wasn't allowed in our pool because we don't have one, and the local ones were shut down.
