Why is it your favourite? When did you first start watching/listening to this movie/song?

I would say my favorite Christmas movie is Elf, and I don't have any traditions or anything I just really enjoy watching the movie. I would say I like it so much because I like the idea of an actual elf living in New York, and any movie with Will Ferrell is going to be a classic. I don't remember my first time watching Elf but I know I've been watching it since at least kindergarten. Being the youngest sibling I would often find myself watching shows and movies with comedy I didn't understand but Elf always made me laugh.

DeleteI never really watched Christmas movies because I don't have interest in watching long movies but one of the few movies I watched was Polar Express. This is my favourite movie because it reminds me of being in elementary school and watching it on the last day of school before the winter break. The movies pretty simple but I remember when I was younger I liked the storyline and how magical the movie seemed. I'm pretty sure I watched it for the first time when I was in either first or second grade.

DeleteDuring the holidays, one of my favorite parts is to watch movies and my favorite Christmas movie would be Home Alone. It has a good storyline, and it's a classic. I found the movie hilarious every time I watch it, and it's always fun to watch those tricks that Kevin came up with, so he can protect his house from the two con men. I don't remember the first time I have seen it, but I was pretty young and ended up watching it every year.

DeleteMy favourite Christmas movie has to be either Home Alone 1 or Home Alone 2. These two movies are super great and comedic. Personally I love how in both movies they have the exact same cast. It's very cool how both movies essentially have the same plot but still seem different. Home Alone has always been part of Christmas for me. Home Alone is my favourite movie simply because every scene is action packed and makes me laugh.

DeleteMost likely my favourite Christmas movie is Daddy's Home 2. I love comedies and every since this movie came out, my family and I watched it every Christmas. We also watch many other Christmas movies, although I would have to say its my favorite movie. Its my favourite as its very funny, they are a big family who celebrate Christmas in a nice way and just the storyline, as this is not necessarily a typical Christmas film. Im not sure when I started watching this film, but I started when the film came out. Ever since, we will always watch it once, maybe twice times before Christmas.

DeleteMy favourite Christmas movie would probably be Home Alone 1. I really enjoy comedies and this is a perfect example of a Christmas comedy. I watch it every Christmas with my family! I first started watching it a couple years ago. Home Alone is packed with action and it’s very funny. I feel like it’s a Christmas classic that most people have already seen. The funniest part of the movie would be the burglars because they aren’t very smart, which makes it funny to watch. There are many Home Alone's, but I like the 1st one the best because it’s hilarious!

DeleteI think my favorite christmas movie(s) would be the Home Alone movies or (even though it's not really a christmas movie) Rise of the Guardians. These movies because I find that the are great movies to start the holidays with. They are also really funny. It's also just fun to sit around and watch movies with the family and just enjoy each other's company (for once). I first started watching Home Alone when I was young because it's kind of been a tradition that we watch this movie every christmas. As for Rise of the Guardians, I started watching it as soon as it came out.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas movie has to be the Grinch. I love this movie because of Jim Carrey. I also love this movie because every year we watch it we have a "Christmas movie marathon" with the whole family and we just have a good time. The Grinch is the first movie we watch and it's usually the one we pay attention to the most. I first started watching the Grinch when I was around 7 years old and since then it has become a Christmas tradition.

DeleteIf I had to chose one Christmas movie, my all time favourite Christmas movie has to be Home Alone 1. This movie never gets old for me and it's a classic! My first time watching it as probably when I was around 5 years old. My mom also really likes that movie so that's how I got introduced to it. Ever since then, I've been watching it ever since! I love the pranks that Kevin pulls on the robbers, it always makes my family and I laugh!

ReplyDeleteMy all time favourite Christmas movie is Love Actually. This movie is so funny and different from the boring hallmark Christmas movies. My two favourite couples are the little boy and his American girlfriend and the prime minister and Natalie. The first time I watched it was when I was in grade six. Every year my family and I watch it. We have now started a tradition that very year we have to watch it at lest once. My favourite part is seeing everyone fall in love in there own special way.
I forgot about Love actually, it's so good!
DeleteProbably my favorite Christmas movie is either Die hard or Home alone. I don't care what you say, for me Die hard is a Christmas movie. I really enjoy watching these classics with my family every Christmas because Home alone is just fun and wholesome with some wacky moments that are always memorable.I also enjoy Die hard because its smart and fun and it's always just been a movie we watch on Christmas. I don't even remember when we started watching these movies.

DeleteI don't really watch Christmas movies although, if I had to pick one, it would be Home Alone 2. I first started watching Home Alone 2 when I was six years old and it was funny with all the pranks that the kid pulled on the robbers. It is my favourite because of the hilarious things that happens to them while they are trying to rob a toy store on Christmas. I used to laugh so hard while watching that movie and I still do except I don't really watch it anymore. Watching it with my family makes it better because we can all laugh and be together. Home Alone is the best Christmas movie in my opinion.

DeleteI don't really like christmas movies, they're all pretty much the same idea. Having said that, if i had to pick one it would be the movie elf. I like zooey deschanel and her character in this movie. I think that it's a funny movie, an elf in new york isn't the same idea as all other movies. Also the city of new york looks really beautiful in the movie. I do not really remember when my family first started watching the movie but it was probably a couple years ago.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas movie is home alone 1. It’s really funny and it makes me laugh every time I watch it. All the pranks he is doing to the robbers make this movie my favorite. I first watched this movie when I was younger, I watched it in elementary school with my teacher. Ever since then I have watched it every Christmas. I like very home alone movies but the first one is just better. It’s cool how they can make multiple movies with the same plot and all of them could still be good. If you haven’t watched this movie I really recommend it, you’ll laugh and have a good time.
To be honest I don't really like christmas movies because they're so repetitive, and at christmas time, my family watches the Harry Potter series because we really like that series even if we've watched it 6 times. To me Harry Potter is christmas because in every movie and book there is a winter/christmas scene, but due to the fact that Harry potter is not classed by others as a christmas movie, I'd say my favourite (really my second favourite) christmas movie is scrooged. Which is a hilarious modern remake of "A christmas carol", but It isn't really good for kids.

DeleteMy favourite Christmas movie is probably Charlie Brown or the grinch. My family watches them every year and they are just classics that never get old. I can always count on them help me get in the holiday spirit. One of my favourite movies is die hard because its full of action, even though it's not really a Christmas movie we still watch it every Christmas. The first time I watched die hard was in the second grade. My dad was watching it in the living room and came down and watched it from the stairs, he didn't even notice.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite christmas movie is Home Alone 1. I first watched it in elementary in like grade 3 because the teacher wanted to relax and winter break was coming up. I remember the comedy being really good and all of my classmates were laughing. It uses a lot of funny tricks and it was really funny seeing a kid outsmart some adults that have much more experience than him. Home Alone is the perfect christmas movie if u want a laugh and be more relaxed.

DeleteMy all time favourite Christmas movie has to be Christmas Vacation. Although it is a pretty old movie, it is definitely a holiday classic at my house. Christmas Vacation is about a family named the Clarks who try to have the best Christmas vacation ever. When the rest of the family comes to celebrate, things get messy. This is such a good movie to watch during the holidays because of how hilarious it is. Every scene is just constant laughing for the whole family. I strongly recommend this movie for anybody who is looking for a nice holiday comedy to enjoy with the whole entire family.

DeleteI personally really don't like Christmas movies, and I can't stand Christmas music. The only Christmas movie I will watch is the nightmare before Christmas. Some people think it's a Halloween movie, but those who think that are wrong. I think this is an iconic movie, the premise of this movie is very creative and it's very enjoyable to watch. I don't really watch this movie often because, while it's a good movie there are definitely better ones out there. I think the first time watching it was with my cousins when I was in sixth grade.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas movie is Elf. This is a classic movie that my family and I watch every year during the holiday season. I have been watching this movie for years now. This is a fun and lighthearted movie that’s perfect for getting in the Christmas spirit. I love this movie because of its originality and the actors in it. Will Ferrell is hilarious in this movie and does an amazing job playing the role of Buddy. It is so funny seeing Buddy experience the real world.
ReplyDeleteI can't really one favourite song because there many but the 2 songs I like most is I Don't Care Anymore by Phil Collins and Smooth by Santana and Rob Thomas. I've liked Phil Collins ever since I was a baby ,my mother used to always play on the radio while we were in the car. The reason I liked the song Smooth was because of my grandmas knowledge in music, she introduced it to me and I loved it. I kept on listening to it for days.
ReplyDeleteI really dislike most Christmas movies or songs. There are a few movies I find ok like home alone but generally I think that the comedy in them is pretty boring. One Christmas movie I do however like is Die Hard. Some people might say that Die Hard isn't a "rEal ChRIstMas MoVie!!!" but those are just the Heathens that haven't yet seen the light of our lord and savior Bruce Willis. This is without a doubt the greatest Christmas movie ever made because there's a lot of explosions and guns and there aren't any cringy comedy bits like in most Christmas movies.

I dont know if this can also be considered a Christmas movie but I love the frozen movies. ive been watching them for as long as I can remember.

My dad's brother came to visit last year at around this time since his father had to be on life support and then eventually they took him off of it on dec 16th and he went to the sun to brighten the darkest nights. so anyways my uncle showed and sent us this movie and i often quote it and it's a great comedy. My favorite Christmas movie is definitely The Santa Clause with Tim Allen. I honestly can't explain why it's my favorite but I have watched every year since I was a kid. The movie is about a business man who couldn't care less about other people but one night his son leads him outside to show him that Santa is on his roof. He calls for him and scares the man of his roof but he dies and Tim Allen takes his clothes undenounced to him though he had just become the new Santa Claus and the movie continues.
