your physical and emotional health as well as your overall well-being. It can also give you the
opportunity to slow down the pace of life and promote some positive energy.

Yes I do think it is important because it will help with stress management and it can improve your health. Smiling can improve our health by boosting our immune system to function more effectively. It can also make you feel more relaxed. Yes I do think people need to take care of themselves because self care avoids many health problems and it can make you feel so much better. It is hard since we have a lot to do at school and maybe at home but you should try to make some time for yourselves.

DeleteI think that it is always important to slow down because it can help your brain take a break, which means less stress for you. Taking a break is important because it slows down blood pressure. Smiling is really important because studies have shown that smiling releases natural painkillers and serotonin. It makes your body feel better and it always feels good to smile! I think that people have to take more time and focus on themselves everyday because physical and emotional well-being is crucial to mental health. Whether it’s going on a walk, or doing yoga, there are many ways you can take better care of yourself.

DeleteI believe it is important to slow down pace, as it can increase overall happiness between others. If we are always rushed and never have the time to appreciate stuff, the point of our life will just be to work continuously and never actually be happy, unless the only thing you like is work. By just slowing down, and actually slow down and take time to promote positive energy, you are not just doing it for yourself, but for everyone around you. By smiling more and creating a positive energy, people will be more successful and be more in a pleasant mood. It will increase happiness and health. I do believe that we need to take better care of their physical and emotional well-being, as this is our life, and we should like it. By taking better care of yourself, you help yourself live a better, fuller life. There are many different ways to take care of yourself, such as meditating and reading, improving your emotional well-being or sports and games, for your physical state.

Our mental health can be inflicted pain because if negative energy. Smiling can very much improve your health because a real smile means that you are in a good mood and are in a positive state of mind. I agree that people in general should take better care of their physical and emotional well-being because it is essential to keep healthy in every way possible no matter what. People do need to be careful of how they feel and ensure that they remain physically and emotionally healthy and have a positive mindset.

ReplyDeleteWe should be taking better care of ourselves physically and mentally. When we were in quarantine people were not leaving their houses and I think we were not doing enough physical activity. In order to improve our mental and physical health there are very simple things we could be doing like going on walks, reading and meditating.
I agree, quarantine was a tough time for all of us. It's important that we take care of our physical and emotional well being during those tough times.

DeleteI think slowing down is good for all of us. I find that slowing down is a necessity for us because we need to have the chance to experience everything and actually take things in. If everyone slowed down, people would be so much more happier. This way, when you ask someone if they are happy, they will actually mean it when they respond "yes". Honestly, I have no idea how smiling can improve your health. Maybe, when you smile, you'll trick your mind into believing that your happy or content. And yes, people do need to take better care of themselves because if they don't, who knows what will happen to them psychologically.
ReplyDeleteI think that it is important to not slow down your pace because for my age most children are lazy and tend to procrastinate more often, yet I do acknowledge the importance of stopping to look around every once in a while. Smiling can improve your health, I'm not going to be talking about the science behind it simply because fellow bloggers described it better, but I do know that when your smiling your living, what I'm saying is do the things that make you smile. I think that people need to take more care of themselves physically, studies have proven that for kids between the ages of 11 to 17 years old, only 20% of them actually get the recommended amount of daily activity. As far as mental health goes I honestly just don't want to get into a fight about my point of view, but just don't make up stuff, and only tell people you have a mental issue after you have spoken to someone in a medical field and have been diagnosed, don't just look up symptoms of anxiety and self diagnose yourself.

DeleteI think it's important to slow down the pace of your life with restrictions. If you live your life slowed down all the time you're never going to get anywhere. It's important to take break and stop for a moment but you shouldn't live your life behind everyone else. I think it's really important to take good care of your physical and well being because that's something that you're going to have to live with forever. Practicing healthy habits will help you become the best version of yourself. Listening and understanding your capacities physically and mentally is very important. People often overlook mental illnesses and don't seek help when they should. You never know if somebody may be struggling to seek help so it's always important to treat people with respect and kindness.

Smiling can improve your emotional health by so much, because even if you are sad try and smile more it can lighten up your mood or the vibe around you .I really feel like people do need to take care of their physical and emotional well being because your physical health is what provides energy so that your emotional health will be okay too.

DeleteI personally believe it is healthy to slow down the pace of life, but I think it’s becoming less and less possible to lead a life like that. With the progression of technology, things are happening faster and faster, and while people are claiming it “saves you time”, it does the opposite. Smiling can improve your health in so many ways, it boosts your mood, reduces stress, strengthens your immune system, etc. The most interesting thing about smiling is that you can pass it on to other people, and that improves their health. Imagine a resource, which improves your physical and mental health that you can give to other people, and it doesn’t cost you anything. That’s what a smile is, and people often underestimate it. I believe that people need to take a lot more care of their physical and mental health. The lack of physical health in my generation is due to the lack of physical movement in our day to day lives. My grandfather never worked out a day in his life, and he was extremely healthy. Another reason is that we are exposed to more and more unhealthy foods. It has come to the point where Sprite is less expensive than water at a drive-thru. These two things combined are detrimental to our physical health. The lack of mental health is probably due to our fast-paced way of life. For example, school: although it’s easier to do our projects, we get more of them than any other generation, and so we get overloaded more and more and so we break down (then everyone blames it on video games). That’s one reason you see a spike of depression and anxiety. Another reason is social media, but that’s too long and I wrote enough as it is.

DeleteIn my opinion slowing down the pace of your life to promote positive energy depends on your lifestyle. I wouldn’t slow down my life because I need to always be doing something to make me feel good and happy. I live life at a fast pace and that makes me happy so it is up to the person's lifestyle. Smiling is something you should do all day every day. People don’t smile most of the time because they focus on the negative side of things, they think of the past. You can’t get the past back so just focus on your future and find happiness internally, nobody should tell you to be happy and smile, it's up to you to find that happy place in your life. Physical, emotional and mental health are very important. Mental first, Physical second and emotional third. You can still do things being emotionally drained, you have to dig deep and find that drive to continue. Being physically exhausted isn’t that bad, to me it means you’ve worked your hardest and you can still go even if your brain doesn't think you can’t. Mental is the most important, without being mentally prepared you can’t do anything. You can work on your mental health by doing meditation, it works, for me meditation calms me down and makes me less nervous being around people and doing things. Physical health is easy to maintain, eat healthy and workout, cut out sugar and drink a lot of water, that will also help your mental health because if you're in shape you become less insecure about your body and it boosts your confidence. For emotional health just go at your own pace. Life isn’t a sprint it's a marathon. Not everyone can run a marathon under 3 hours but as long as you finish the race you're good.

DeleteI think it's important for people to slow down their life sometimes to enjoy the little things that they haven't notice before and to feel proud of what they have accomplished to promote more positive energy. Smiling is always good. It's good for the heart and the soul. By smiling every day doesn't just make you feel happier, but it can brighten up someone else's mood as well, which is a win-win. Smiling is similar to getting good sleep it can give your brain more positive emotions, and that's why people should smile more often. I feel that people should take better care of their physical and emotional well-being because you only live once, and it's important to take good care of yourselves, and it's not difficult to do. By focusing more on the positive side, doing exercise, and learning to forgive yourself from the past, you will have a great life.
ReplyDeleteSometimes life is so busy that lose sight of what the important things are. We can get so busy that we don't recognize and take into account our mental and physical health. I think it's important to have down time and moments when you can just settle down and reflect. I think smiling is important, not because it can make us happier but because it can help someone else feel better. Although it has been scientifically proven that the more you smile the happier you will be I'm not totally sure I believe it. Some of us live busy and stressful lives and constantly forget about our mental and physical life, this is why I believe it's important to have down time. It's also equally important to be physically healthy so doing things like sports and exercising is important especially at our age.

I think this quote is very true because if you don't slow down a little and keep a positive energy, then you could miss the nice and happy things in life while you're focusing on just going about. I think smiling (real smile) is very important because it shows we are happy and in a good mood so we have less stress and a healthier mindset. I think that taking care of yourself and diverting you attention from the things that don't help you, is important because it lets you see the nice things in life healthily.

DeleteI definitely think that it can be important to take a break for normal life and just relax sometimes. Especially considering how much people go through on a daily basis. I don't know the effects of smiling on happiness but I'm sure that with a lot of things like laughter it will probably make you feel happy. I think that for physical wellness everyone can keep better care of themselves in that way, but mental wellness is definitely more situation based. I mean if you're already happy and feeling good then mental wellness isn't really factor in your life.
ReplyDeletePersonally, my mental health is directly correlated to my physical health. Hockey has always been the bases of my happiness, it sounds rather pathetic, but its true. Lately I havent been feeling amazing after sports were cancelled, it has made me very sad and over energetic. It is not all bad though, the lack of hockey I feel has humbled me, I now realize with all my alone time that in the past, I was on a very high horse, and I had a large ego, this quarantine has really helped me to change into a more agreable person. All in all, mental health is important, and smiling and doing what you love allows you to properly maintain a healthy level of mental health. The only thing that must be noted is that you should never put at risk someone elses mental well-being, because when you do, you will eventually realise what you have done and it will feel terrible. You never know what someone is going through, and therefore attacking someone can have serious negative effects.

DeleteYes I do think its important because taking care of your emotional well being can help get over an event that may have occurred or a memory that horrified or saddened you, it can help you organise your emotions into the places you want them to be. It is important to take care of your physical well being because when you exercise you feel good about yourself, like you have accomplished something. It also improves your focus in class to keep your brain at a high speed. Taking time off is necessary if you are too busy with other distractions and you can never focus on those tasks that can benefit your mood and focus.

If you keep smiling, people will eventually smile back. This can improve your health because it will reduce stress relief, and can also help people with lower pressure. I think they do need to take care of themselves more because especially during covid times people are more likely to just sit at home and not see anyone. This is really bad because they're not doing anything to improve their physical or mental health. I think you can improve both of these by just going on a little walk everyday.

Taking time out of your day to exercise or to just lie down is something everyone should do. In todays society we are expected to move our lives at like it's a race which just causes stress and puts everyone under pressure when in reality we all need to slow down and think of everything we do instead of just trying to get it done.
ReplyDeleteI think that slowing down the pace of your life will absolutely help, but in a time like this, where society is in a bad place, it is simply not possible to. Although, smiling, to me, isn't really necessary. People don't need to smile, we need to keep our society going, or else it'll shut down, just like the beginning of the pandemic. Smiling does help with mental health, but we need to relax more, in order to have a good mental health. Smiling does show that you are in a better state of mind, but it could be a fake smile. We need to be able to have nothing to do, or to rush to get out of the way, so we can take some time to think about... stuff. Stress abut things you have to get done certainly will not help you get a better mental health, which is why everyone needs to get all their work out of the way, just so they can relax.

I really don't think smiling can improve your health because I don't believe that you will become happy. I do believe that people should take care of their physical and especially emotional well being because no one else should be making things better for you. Of course it's great to get help from friends and family but they need to take care of themselves as well therefore no one should depend entirely on others.

I believe that slowing down the pace of life and promoting positive energy is a must, especially in our society where a lot of people aren’t happy enough. There is no point to life if you are not living it to the fullest and that includes positivity. Smiling with positivity is very important as smiling really shows who you are and it really helps preserve positivity in your life. People especially in this society should really think if they are happy or not and what can they improve to increase their happiness. That is why my motto is to get good mental!
ReplyDeleteMental health is important in your everyday life. Everything you do affects you mentally. I believe a month like this can be important. I don't believe that you should slow everything down. I believe that if everything was just hectic for you, you should just take your time, and do things at your own pace. For a lot of people their mental health depends on physical activity/sports. Personally I never heard of November being a month of mental health awareness. What I find interesting is that sports were cancelled right before this month. Now all athletes can find a different way to motivate /increase their mental health.

DeleteIt is important to slow down sometimes to be able to see the world around you. By smiling you are saying to others that you are doing well enough to pass some on to them. If people start to see the world around them and how easy it is to make a difference, this world we live in will have change, not just false hope/ promises. So yes, people need to start promoting inner health so they have enough to share with others.
